Depending on which internet forum you go to he is:
out with a back problem
back in rehab
suspended due to some rather strong HSO's about Muslims made on the day the new owners were in the station.
I suspect the truth is in there somewhere.

Nary a hint has been mentioned really, except on the first day out(last Wednesday),Rhyner mentioned that it might be for several days...
But, that was about it.
Wasn't anything he did at Ticketstock because he didn't do anything on stage except wave..

Keep in mind: He has had consistent extended absences (not vacations) on an annual or biannual basis for about the last 5 years or so. If I missed that much work, I'd be out of a job.

Everyone at that station kisses his and rhyners backside. If it wasnt for them and the musers, they're wouldnt be a ticket. I bet my dollar its one of two things:
A) Relapse into his pain med hoobey-goobey that he blubbered about getting over.
B) His A-Rab comments got em put "on the bench".
Also remember, those "breaks" seem to come and go whenever he put himself on the "injured reserve", if ya catch my drift.

Unconfirmed story is that he had a medical procedure with a longer than expected recovery time. I've seen something to this effect posted on FrontBurner and on BaD Radio's forum.

I think after the Greggo "addiction" fallout, the enkarlo "cross station shouting match" incident last year, plus the impending sale of susquehanna, I think they're trying to keep the potential negative publicity down to minimum. All kidding aside on here, I do hope Gregg is alright and wish him a speedy recovery (be it his back or a relapse). At the end of the day, he's human like the rest of us on here and isnt perfect.
