Mr. G. apparently left the airwaves of WMUR-TV a couple of weeks ago....he's been replaced on the 5:00 PM news by Mike Cherry...
Don't know who's co-anchoring the 6:00 PM.....
They've removed his smiling face from station promos, too.....!!
Nothing has been said on-air about his supposed departure....just wondering if he left under lees-than-gracious terms....
On a personal note....i think his removal -- IF that is indeed the case -- is LONG OVERDUE!!
I've always said he couldn't be a better anchor if they tied a rope around his neck.....and threw him off a boat!!
