Where Ole Radio Guys Go

Hadn't been here in a while. What a treat. I guess instead of hanging around drinking coffee, we old radio guys sit at our pc's these days. Love the war stories from everybody. Great seeing Allan, Rob, Bob, Rick, Dan and all hanging here. (sorry if I left someone out). Really enjoying the stories of FM-100, WREC AM/FM, and hope to hear more about WHBQ & WMPS in the day. The stories about the stations I grew up on, straining to pick them up from 120 miles away in West Tennessee in the daytime before night pattern took them away and I went to WLS.

Keep up the good work jogging the neurons.

Great to see your post. Was it RedBeard who "knighted" you with the Radar tag? I just recorded a voiceover session a couple of weeks back with Julie "Boom Boom" Cannon (Stein) via ISDN from Vegas. You would be amazed how many commercials you hear that 103 veteran on and don't even realize it!

I look forward to hearing all the stories as well. I was a huge family of Memphis radio back in the day.
