Where the Females 25-54 are

I see that in a Salem press release that KLTY is tied for first place in their female 25-54 target demo the first time a AC Christian music station has ever reached such a feat in a major market. The success and the desire to be sole #1 station with females 25-54 is leading to a spotload drop for the 3rd quarter. KLTY is the most successful Christian AC station in history .
Along with the highly rated 94.9 KLTY Salem owns low rated Christian Talk 100.7 The Word and News/Talk 660 WSKY in the DFW market.

No bodies in the studio.

As of earlier today, this 25-54 Female has been scouting out the bowling alleys and Sonics in Las Vegas checking out their, uhm...rockin' elevator music. (uh, see the "Sonic FM" posts below) ;) Okay, I have POSTED WAAAAAAY too much today, I am going away now.

Peace, smack my a$$ and welcome to Sonic!

Congratulations to KLTY! I still have to laugh, though, when I see that bogus demographic. All the 25 year old females I know are listening to Power FM. So are the 35 year old females. Get to about 40 and they start listening to KLTY. Somebody should really analyze this properly. It doesn't bode well for the future if older females are listening, and younger are more interested in Power FM.

10% of the KLTY audience is teens, 4% is 18-24, 25% is 25-34 and 28% is 35-44. 24% is 45-54, and only 9% is over 55. The figures for females are nearly identical.

KVRK cumes only about 20% of what KLTY does, and its biggest cell is 35-44 with almost half the listening comeing from it. KVRK is the old leaning station.
