Where The Rest Of The KDWN Paid Programming. Here's One

Where's Olene & Co. Olene Alvarez who's been doing her half hour program every wednesday at 2:30PM since 1989. Mainly about herbal supplements and skin care.
 
She was on the air there for 17 or 18 years on Wednesdays (she either started in 88 or 89, her store opened in 1987). I believe she knew A.J. Williams from back in the day; many years ago she told me the story but I dont remember details of it anymore. She was a personal friend of Ted Bair's as well. I wouldn't expect her to show up on any other stations as she has a very large and loyal customer base already and is very well known here to tens of thousands of local Las Vegans.
 
KDWN lost ads...they have some infomercials on weekends...mostly the same people, no Oleene,and some previous advertisers now have commercials...but overall less clients....I noticeed the auto broker was on klav...
 
Why doesn't KSHP get any of that business? KLAV is a hole with no audience and foreign language dreck that makes it sound like a station in someone's basement. As weak as it may be, 1400 is light years ahead of this dump
