Where to find Local Ratings?

Can anyone tell me how to access local ratings for specific local markets? I promise I'm not an agency trying to scam Neilsen...I'm just a geek who likes to know who's winning the local news wars, fringe, and even how local tastes in network shows compare to the overall national average. I know I'm a geek. BTW, our local paper doesn't cover this sort of thing at all. Thanks!

Unfortunately, Nielsen (and Arbitron as well for those looking for how radio is doing) doesn't give out freebies. You either have to look around for places like this on the Web, or newspapers, for the most part. Not sure what your market is, but your best bet may be an industry blog or the paper in the nearest larger city, otherwise you may be SOL.
