Where to list/find broadcast equipment on E-BAY?

I have recently taken my first stab at selling broadcast equipment on E-bay with no success yet. I am finding that "broadcast equipment" seems to be scattered under multiple categories. For instance, I am trying to get rid of two surplus Comrex Access Rack units. When I list them I end up in a category like "
Electronics > Radios: CB, Ham & Shortwave > Commercial Radio" which is as close as I can come up with.

Then to find codecs, I search for "Comrex" it returns a bunch of products listed under the categories that include:
"Electronics > Vintage Electronics > Receivers", "Musical Instruments > Pro Audio Equipment > Rack Gear > Other","Musical Instruments > Pro Audio Equipment > Rack Gear > Signal Processors", or "Musical Instruments > Pro Audio Equipment > Other." I wouldn't categorize Comrex codecs as vintage or musical!

Does anyone know of a specific "professional broadcast category" to list under E-bay? I would like to find where all of the good stuff is hiding! I figured what I was selling for a fraction of the original cost would have been snatched up right away on E-bay. I have also noticed that if you list for just one day, it can take more than 6 hours to show up so that people are only seeing the auction at night and then its over by the morning (so a one day E-bay listing is more like 18 hours)!

Suggestions?

Just make certain the title of your auction contains the key words such as the manufacturer, model number and item description. I know when I troll ebay for things I need I look with specific keywords, usually the manufacturer brand name.

I agree with Bill. I do searches for "Harris Broadcast", "Gates Broadcast", "Orban", "Optimod", "Comrex", "Burk", "Belar" and the like. Make sure the manufacture of your equipment is searchable and it will not matter what catagory it's in.

Often I see items posted by liquidators, auction houses, or other bulk sellers who dont know exactly what they have. So they really dont know how to categorize it. I use the same approach as Bengalsfan, search with the manufacturers name. More often than not you will get hits. Happy Hunting.

This may seem obvious, but make sure you have the correct spelling for the manufacturers name. I have stumbled across a few items that went for far to little money because of a misspelling and very few people finding the auction. A few months ago, I saw a vintage McCurdy console with 0 bids and a low starting price. McCurdy was spelled McCardy.

I've done casual searches on old radio production libraries to see what might be available and never found anything. So I think you're right... the sellers don't know how to properly categorize things.
