Where was Kuhner this morning?

No Kuhner this AM. Instead they had on one of the Coast To Coast loons talking about how The Illuminati and Monsanto are trying to take over the world with GMO foods, diet soda and hip-hop, or something like that. Some young-sounding female was reading the spots usually yelled by Kuhner.

You must be the only person who even knew this loser was on.

I did too, because I'd heard there was a "big announcement!" on Kuhner's show the other day. The announcement was that
he would fill in for Howie today as HC had more book stuff (paperback writer, writer, writer...) to deal with today.

Pretty sad state of affairs at WRKO when your morning guy fills in for PM drive and you run syndicated in AM drive as a suitable replacement. Was the C2C rerun for the entire 4 hours or did someone local cover starting at 7?

Well Avi was back this afternoon. I thought it was pretty sad when Crazy Kuhners big announcement was that he would be filling in for Carr Monday afternoon. Kuhner then had the weekend guy who broadcasts from Mars on and gave him one of his verbal BJ's after which the Wells character talked about how the voting machines all over the US were rigged for an Obama win. I agree that in most cases if you have a marginal morning show introducing them to an other day part is not a bad idea however if callers are any indication the RKO audience listens all day long including this guy Russ who is allowed to call into every show every day. Nothing makes for great talk radio then hearing the same people all day long especially the ones who think they are very clever and the smartest guy in the room.
