Where was radio?

I've been out of Orlando radio for years, so I'm not up to date on the latest. Are you telling me that there are not even board ops working overnights in Orlando anymore?

Is it all computer-based?

Most of the clusters these days have a single person who does morning show prep, meter readings, monitoring and sometimes production work.

So yeah, a lot of clusters are completely automated.

I'm not in the market anymore..in agreement though..if you do not own a weather radio you might as well kiss your a$$ goodbye. You'll be sleeping at 3am one night and hurricane Barney or tornado Ben will come take you to your maker..no dj in the world can save you in central FL because those storms are so fast and furious..you must have that weather radio (I did). Pick one up at Lowes..30 bucks.
