Where Was Regis Philbin in Kelly Ripa Tribute?

LIVE just did a tribute to Kelly Rippa's 15 years on LIVE and no mention or acknowledgment of Regis Philbin. He did show up in some old video clips but that was all. Is there a bad blood between Regis and Kelly? It was a glaring omission
 
There are some unanswered questions here. First, how do we know that Regis was not the one who declined to be part of it? Secondly, how is this show doing syndication wise? Thirdly, does the current management of the show want to move forward as opposed to backward? I don't know, but I think all three of these questions are valid.

Can't answer two of the questions but Live! is doing well enough (usually leading weekly or tied for the #2 spot) that it has been renewed through 2020.
