Where were you at 1:01 PM 366 days ago

I was in my bedroom at home, NEWLY-purchased CD/radio tuned in to the RETURN of New York's GREATEST Hits of the 60's, 70's, and 80's - 101.1 WCBS-FM!! (where else would I have been?) 8) Now if you asked me WHERE I was YESTERDAY, when CBS-FM RE-CREATED the "activity" of July 12, 2007, I was poring over a plate of salad while remembering..

May CBS-FM "rock on" FOREVER!!

why is that ridiculous? as long as you had your radio tuned in to 101.... 8)

I was standing in the corner of a studio on the 40th floor of 1515 Broadway watching Bob Shannon dance!

Sorry, couldn't resist :D

why does that not surprise me?? ;) And Shannon had EVERY right to dance on THAT day and CONTINUES to have EVERY right to do so!!

Thanks, Scott - that was SO COOL! 8) 8) May CBS-FM rock on FOREVER!!

I was also in my bedroom as the change happened. A year later, I'm still listening on a frequent basis. The last year has seen the station solidifying its musical direction and its jocks settling in nicely. Here's to many more years!

I spent 1/2 hour driving around in Dutchess county to find the spot with the best reception and did!! Listened to the most mind blowing montage I ever heard...thought the good ol days were over till then. The recent 3000 song countdown reaffirms that CBS-FM knows how to lead the pack!!

Play those **OLDIES ** Mr. Deejay.....
