It may be a coincidence but the same graphic on KVTT's "Will we be Silenced?" http://www.917thetruth.org/ is the same graphic used on 1360 http://www.rationalradio.org/
1360 KMNY is a leased frequency by Rational Radio from Multicutural Broadcasting. I am merely pointing the possibility that KVTT might be looking into leasing the frequency and putting The Truth's programming on 1360. If that happens there would be no more Rational Radio thus no more P&K or BDH.

At this point. Very unlikely. Despite nay sayers, etc. Rational radio does have an audience. They know they will never crack the top 15 and thats fine with them.

I know MRBI would prefer a religious broadcaster to lease the time. When MRBI had to negotiate the contract with Rational Radio, there were a lot of raised corporate eyebrows over Rational's desire to talk about anti-religious-right topics, and to allow a cussword (or ten) to fly at will. The very nature of Rational Radio's programming was a point of conjecture before anyone signed on the dotted line...MRBI has a very strict and (usually) non-compromising set of rules built into its standard contracts, apparently. But it was a case of, do we lease out the time or not? Really, as far as MRBI is concerned, if the check cashes, everything's fine. They are not concerned about a lessee's ratings.
There are a lot of desperate AMs out there who would jump at the chance to air 91.7's programming on a lease basis. Dan Patrick's folly at 1160 is one. 990 is another. CC has been looking for a suitor for 1190 for years, and might sell at a grossly DEflated price now. KJSA is actually showing some ratings, but you never know--after upgrades were done to accommodate Frishberg's BizRadio folly, it has some decent reach nowadays into DFW. There's still 940 out of Belton that has already had all the engineering work done to shoot it into DFW. MRBI's KDFT is leased, but who knows when that contract's up. And surely Mortensen is ready to dump out of a station or two to save the company from financial ruin. And who knows, maybe Citadel thinks it's time to stick up the For Sale sign at WBAP!!

There's a property that Salem's had long-time trouble selling and marketing, they recently fired their afternoon talk host Scott Wilder and are feverishly trying to find a replacement, and the frequency can't hold up a music format (since they broadcast in double-mono, just to get into the DFW area...makes the station worth far less money than an average rimshot.) It might be time to shed themselves of 100.7 while there's still some "perceived" value there.
