Where will Sonny & Wimp wind up?

Seems Sonny & Wimp won't be back on WJOX in January. Will they wind up at WERC? WYDE? Montgomery? Mobile? None of the above?

Dont be suprised to see either WYDE pick them up, or Cox using this opportunity of Jox redoing its morning show, and Sonny and Wimp being available to start their own talk station. That's how WYDE took off...Russ and Dee became available when ERC let go of them...worked out pretty good for them.

Folksy? Try curmudgeonly...but they weren't half bad, and you could do worse. (Are Burt & Kurt still on WYDE?) Speaking of 'The Source', I agree with B5 that I could see them turning up there...possibly WERC, but not for a daily show, though it IS about that time for a new morning show (ha ha).

I'm surprised that Citadel didn't try to park them on WAPI for weekends somehow. I know WNSI 105.9 [Atmore] cleared their show (though WJOX's 'network', I presume), and they sounded just as nutty as ever. <P ID="signature">______________
