Where will the old WDAS-AM audience resurface?

Here's a question for everyone: Where will the WDAS-AM Gospel audience go, now that Rumba is now on 1480? Would there be enough of a demand for another AM to do it full-time? And by that, I mean 24/7, not a daytimer, like WNAP-1110....

I think anyone would think right away Praise 103.9. That is a FULL TIME FM GOSPEL station. I can't imagine any listeners DAS-AM had go anywhere else.

The older part of the audience who likes local personalities and preachers mixed in will go to WNAP. Most of their staff has been there since the format signed on, way before WDAS was all gospel.

BigOl hit the nail on the head. Love or hate em, R1 did fill a niche placing gospel/praise on 103.9.

Yep I knew 1480 was not going to be around too much longer when praise signed on
