Where will the wheel of formats stop for 93.9?

Smooth Jazz, Carl call me for the call letters.

Dying format. But this is Cumulus Indianapolis. Go for it and let the speculation begin on what 939 will format when SJ fails.

The smart thing would be to go back to The Song. Especially if the rumor about KLU is correct.

But with Kurt Wallace at 88.3 the Walk that just signed on, and now that Ann Richards and Fritz Mosier are both been blown out at Cumulus they have none of the DJ Staff from the first run of the Song. the only people who were on the air in the last day of warm 93.9 Was Carl Frye and i believe Sandy Collins unless she got blown out with fritz.

THis is a Cumulus owned property correct? If that's the case they'd probably do a bad job with CHR/Pop though signal-wise 93.9 is way more powerful than 100.9 (where Radio Now currently resides). Since Hot 96.3 is an Urban rather than a Rhythmic, and since Cumulus Rhythmic CHRs are very crossover-friendly perhaps this is what Cumulus will decide to do. After all, the big trend with newly launched CHRs these days is to lean on the Rhythmic side.

"Sandy Collins unless she got blown out with fritz."

Yeah, Sandy no longer works there, either.

Disagree...both are full class A's & WNOU's site is much closer to the center of town. WRWM will get an upgrade at some point, but not until 93.9 in Clinton,IN moves to 93.7, which hasn't happened yet.

Whatever it is, we'll find out at 9:40AM July 3rd....

its time for Personality Classic Hits with a SIGNAL that can COMPETE!

WGRR 103.5/Cincy is doing just that & getting great numbers, calling it Cincinnati's Greatest Hits.

It will be a Top 40. I prefer to call the format CHR, but that's a Radio & Records term.

I have a feeling that it is going to be another Christian programming station, but not back to "The Song". It might be called "Praise 94".
