If it's the same Bob Nelson I think it is, I believe he's in Dallas now and is occasionally seen posting on the Dallas radio board. I seem to remember him saying he had previously worked in Nashville, and I know I used to hear him occasionally on the long-gone KQZY "Cozy 105.3" in Dallas.

Yes that's him. He told me about 10 years ago that the last time he was on the air was July of 91. He told me then that he worked for a company that produces software for radio stations. No station in Nashville was using the software at the time.

I have made contact with the individual who started this thread and the software company is SMARTS Broadcast Systems, by the way. I see a lot of familiar names when lurking on the Nashville board, such as ``oldbud'' from the WKDA days.
