Where's Bob Neumeier?

I know he's a big horse-racing nut, so I suppose Neumy is steeling himself for the Triple Crown. But where is this big goof when there isn't horse racing? Not that I want him back in Boston, because I thought (well, we all thought) he was and is one of the most irritating media personalities on the planet.

I saw him a few months ago at the Coach Grille in Wayland.

:D

do you think the annoying 'regulars' on WEEI like Frank and Dakota and Screaming Danny from Quincy and Mike from Canton, et al have an inside number so they can get on the show more quickly?

Glenn Ordway recently mentioned on the air that Neumy had relocated to Florida.

I think the more important question is what happened to the Neumy impersonator on the Whiner Line?

Last I heard him, Mike from Canton sounds like he is on speaker phone just talking loud into it, and it is annoying. Thankfully I gave up Yankee Talk awhile ago.

I want to go up to Danny from Quincy (and JTWG for that matter) and say "What is wrong? Why do need to scream?"

They must...yesterday (tues) right at the start of the Big Show, a day after the Sox lost and the Yankees won, right at the top of the show it's Frank. Big O blows him up, and no lie, about 10 seconds later he is there again, supposedly telling the screener he is Herbie from Atlanta. But Big O oh so cleverly picked up on it, even before he talked to him.

Sorry, at the beginning of the Big Show, actually anytime during the Big Show, you can't just simply hang up, and call right back...the lines get so jammed it's always busy.

So yeah, it's annoying the whole schtick they have with him, It's so clear they have him call, or at least give him a special number.

Ciao!
G'Bye Men!

... I didn't mind Neumy but Holley is a big improvement. I do get tired of the John "Wallace" schtick, as I've mentioned.

I had to stop listening to Mustard and Johnson too... the whole good cop/bad cop thing is so contrived and the callers grate. Also, I love how Larry Johnson is a minister and was basically calling Craig a wimp because Craig doesn't approve of fighting in hockey. I don't mind the fighting, myself, but I find it amusing that this conservative minister would condone fighting...

I'm glad the baseball show is back on Sunday mornings... now if they could just get rid of Mikey and have it be Buckley and McAdam, it'd be an even better show...

No, "we all" did not. I never thought that about him.

Well, the vast majority did and so he hopped on a horse and got run outta Dodge. Slinking around a horse track is easier to do down in Florida than up here, so he's gotta be a happy guy now.

I liked Neumeier in small doses back before he was on with Dale, but listening to him everyday was grating. I have to think that he would say things just to get a reaction from callers. He does such a great, professional job with the NBC horseracing gig. He asked the right, very difficult questions after Barbaro went down.

He was extraordinarily grating, and there's a good reason one of the WEEI 'Whiny' award-winners was someone who mocked him perfectly.
