Where's BOB's morning show?

Well, Nick had done a lot of double duty covering for the guy who had to be off while his wife had a baby, so maybe this is just a little time off to reward him for helping out. They were talking yesterday - Nick & Sierra - about going out and doing some appearances at local HS football games and such. I sense nothing in the way of a sudden staff departure at the station.

Are we discussing SAVANNAH again without mentioning it in the subject line (or at least the calls or Bob 106.9)? Geez folks, are we that dense? ::)

It was an oversight on my part, to be sure, but seeing your aggravation almost makes it worth repeating. It's clear now why you describe yourself as "old and crotchety".

Sierra's FB info indicates she's not working there anymore. Bizarre.

Bizarre is a good word for it. The station has e-mailed listeners soliciting their opinions of the new brand so far, and it appears to be business as usual except for the missing morning team. Their FB page got one or two queries about them yesterday, and there was no response from the station.

Greetings, Guru!

Re: Where's BOB's morning show? - WUBB Bluffton-Savannah

Posted early today on the Bob 106.9 Facebook page:

Nick and Sierra no longer work for Bob. We wish them well in their future endeavors.

That is as surprising as it is sudden. My theory about extra time off was a little off the mark, judging from the tone of these sixteen words. It will be interesting to see who takes their place, and to see whether their sudden departure has a marked effect on the new branding effort at the station.
