Where's Buddy??

Buddy Cantu retired from radio. 1st known as 'Buddy Clark' at KBER in San Antonio in 1967, his next stop was at the then new 5000 watt daytimer, KENR in Houston in 1968. He would move to KIKK and stay there for over 25 years as an air personality and eventually production director. His last job was working for me at 1070 KNTH here in Houston.

Now, you know why it's a good idea to add somebody's last name when you post a question like this. How many Buddys do you suppose exist?

Speaking of Cantus-- I weekended at KRGV 1290 down in the Valley back in its top 40 days. Mike Cantu and Richard Cantu also worked there on-air at the time. None of us had ever met until we worked at the same radio station. What are the odds.

BTW-- ABC Radio News has anchor named Richard Cantu... but it's not the same Richard Cantu.

The surname is more common than you might think.
