where's evan luck (KMEL)

for those that care about a REAL jock from back in the day, I was wondering what the heck happened to evan luck when he was on kmel, hosting love lines???? I never heard from him since???? BTW, Franzen aka Franny, also from kmel is now heard on KVEG- 97.5 in las vegas:), and I think gretchen from alice is here now too, on a infinity o&o, they both sound better than ever. and does anybody remember where rosary went to??? thanks, and let's remember that some people don't recall every talent in bay area radio, but a few do stand out above the crowd. too bad I had to move outta the bay area to hear better radio, just sad!!:(

boy, for a moderator position, you sure got a potty mouth!!! their have been numerous postings that you have "lashed" out at, ethier you are in a authority position at your job, or like the idea of making others feel bad. sounds like radio is good place for you to be, you should try upper management. ease up on the sarcastic comments, everyone is entitled to post without being felt like their opinions don't matter. play nice, or gene and julie come back to the bay area airwaves!!!!

So I guess your comments above would be best reflected back to you.
______________

Evan Luck was an incredible jock on KMEL... he did nights in the early 90's, was one of the first I heard ever to have a "Battle of the rappers" freestyle rap feature on his show. He went to KKBT in LA for awhile after that... lost track of him since then. Alot of the old SF greats are in LA now... Rene Taylor, Xavier the Xman, and JoJo on the Radio just to name a few.

i hate when they make me voice track.

unlike some past girlfriends, i just can't fake it.

but management doesn't take to kindly to someone who balks at voictracking.

so i try to fake it. and it just sounds soooooooooooooooo good.
{yeah, that was sarcasm}

The good news is voicetracking seems to have peaked. What I mean is the growth of voicetracking took place earlier this decade and has stabalized. Every large market still has live shows in rated dayparts, some stations more than others. Voicetracking hasn't 100% taken over the way many feared it would.

Actually, voice tracking peaked in the 70's if you consider its usage in multiple dayparts on many stations.

I should probably add to my voice tracking comment earlier. Radio automation killed radio. Voice tracking buried it! :)
______________
