I agree. I've tried listening to Midday 180 but always end up turning it off. I really think it's the hosts that turns me off from the show. Jonathan Hutton is just bland and Chad Withrowe too often unprepared and usually knows very little about the subjects that are discussed or is just giving out wrong or false information. He still thinks that single women in their 20s and early 30s still want to go see Journey and Foreigner in concert and that Straight Single Men go to see Brintey Spears in concert.
Yesterday's "Sports Night" with George Plaster on the Game Radio Network is a prime example of what is wrong with trying to go into different markets on their local stations. They were having a auction to raise money for lights in a West Nashville Baseball Field. When is George Plaster going to raise money for a needy cause in Murfreesboro or Tullahoma? Why should anyone listening to "Sports Night" on a station in Cookeville care about raising money for something in someone elses city when George Plaster isn't helping the citiizens of Cookeville raise money for their Little League teams and fields? When your syndicate, you just can't focus on the needs of chairities in your home market but not worry about the needs in other markets?
