Where's Kidd?

During the summer, he joked that if something were ever to go down on the show with them going away, he'd play "Don't Stop Believin'", and yesterday out of his last break, he played his original show opener, then right into the song. It's most likely him signaling the end of afternoons. The vibe is WYSP wants him in mornings, but he has said time and time again he doesn't want to do mornings. Who knows anymore with WYSP.
 
Well I see he's still on their website (3-7) at least. If he quit, the station's a total mess. Maybe he's renegociating a new "fat" contract if they want him on AM drive.

Of course it is. I can't believe people are falling for his "I don't want to do mornings" act. If you believe that, I have an ESPN Radio affiliate in Philly I want to sell you...

I can't wait for the "I told you it was going to happen" thread after he starts doing the morning show within a few weeks. Wow, way to go out on a limb!

I wish Kidd Chris luck, not that I think he needs it. It's going to be great to have another Morning Show war here in town. I think this will make both of the shows (Kidd & P&S) better. It will definitely be fun to watch!
 
Hello XM.Here I come.I am not a fan of "the zoo" format that P&S have & having to listen to an even more watered down Kidd Criss is not going to make me stay any more.
 
Every since A. new management came and B. they flipped to rock, it sounds as if they've been giving Chris more freedom little by little. I doubt they'd throw a stranglehold on him since he's their new morning show, LOCAL, and a major ratings grabber. They're just glad they finally have someone to directly attack Preston and Steve, and WMMR in general.

If YSP plays this right, this could be a really big morning war that they could benefit off of. Kinda like when Stern came into Philly and wiped out the MMR Morning Zoo.

It could be worth listening to. ;)
