I'm listening on my trusty little boombox at home and all I hear Kiss fm on 105.7. I also noticed that I heard static in the car as well.
 
Maybe they are finally installing their antenna correctly some 14 years later!!!!
 
They picked a bad time to do this...
 
Still can't hear anything. What's really going?
 
buc: any chance you could state or pm me with where you live? krnb was on its backup transmitter during that time and has, from what i've heard, decent dfw coverage. I'm wondering why you couldn't hear it.
 
No Teena Marie tributes. Is KRNB and KSOC voice tracking this time of night.

Not to be nosy, but where is the auxiliary facility you mentioned? Is it closer in, say around Lewisville?
 
I'm in Ft. Worth. I couldn't hardly hear it in the car either.
 
buc: ft worth is a big city. If you're on the other side of downtown from the transmitter, you're probably going to have a hard time hearing it... for now at least ;)
