Where's Mandee and Dave???

...in my little world I've seen them come and seen them go. When I used the word "success" I simply meant that current ETRG management has managed to maintain their positions and keep the train moving forward despite the competition.

Which doesn't necessarily make them good people, or pleasant to work for. It just means they're still in business. I've worked for a lot of people who are still in the radio and newspaper business. It doesn't mean they're going to have many people show up at their funerals.

Not sure how you think they have maintained their positions? All of their radio stations are down in the ratings. The monster that was KOOI is a shell of it's former self. I guess if you consider "keeping the train moving forward" to be "still on the air" then you are correct.

These days in ETEX ratings dont mean squat. Sadly ratings cost stations too much money, and ETRG is making money lots of it. Rick Guest started the trend of getting those stations making lots of money and Ginger is continuing it. Obviously Dru is doing something right in Ginger's eyes or he would be gone. As long as the ETRG stations make money Ginger and Dru will be there for life. I have many dealings with ETRG over the years, and there were several times that I was astonished at how impressed I was with Ginger. She is a go getter, and a very hard worker, she stops at nothing to get the job done!! I came out of working for her as a huge fan of hers. Dru is running 6 stations' programming alone with less and less people every day. Im sure if Dru had his way all hours of the day on all stations would be live and local, but economics for the stations arent there anymore. Would I do things different from Dru Im sure I would, but opinions are like a%$holes everyone has one and they all stink!

ETRG paid ALOT for those stations then the economy fell apart, and now they have to do whatever they can to hang on to the stations. If you dont like the stations dont listen. But dont hate the people that are doing their best to keep those stations going in this economic climate.
