I live up in Northern Arizona (Beaver Dam/Littlefield) and Phoenix TV was my local channels on DirecTV, however, in November, I changed my locals from Phoenix to Salt Lake City. Currently, I am in Show Low for a School Bus Conference, NASTA, and being a newsjunkie, I watch channel 3 in the mornings. When did Marty Velasco-Hames leave 3TV? Where did she go?

She was my favorite anchor YEARS ago, I'd say maybe 10 years ago. Didn't she anchor some kind of nightly news program? Maybe before Patti, and Liz Habib?
 
They got rid of her a year ago. Olivia Fierro took her place. I think Marty is just lifting weights and probably getting ready for triathlons now.

Beaver Dam, eh? Question for you: do you ever tune into the local broadcast TV translators in the area? There's an LPTV station licensed to Littlefield on ch 31, which used to be a KTVK translator, but last time I was up there, it was KSAZ. Do you know if that's still the case? IIRC, their transmitter is actually in Utah, N of town, and I had to go up the hill out of Beaver Dam to receive it. I think Mesquite's Univision station on ch 45 broadcasts from the same location, while their KLVX translator on ch 2 broadcasts from within town. I had to be within 2-3 miles of town to receive it.
 
yes. channel 31 is Fox 10. Every once in a while, it will be 3TV, but rarely. Most of our over the air stations are from salt lake, hence wanting the locals from SL on DirecTV.

But Fox 10 is the only phoenix channel we get over the air locally (with antenna)

Yesterday I got a copy of the free fitness magazine called Sweat. Marty is a writer for the publication.
