Where's Mike Elder?

I see in some of Park Lane's posts that Mike Elder is no longer at Carr-KO.
Saw Tom Baker in the papers and Carbery on this site (that they got axed),
but is Elder gone too?

What does that mean for Jay Diamond? Does Jay get a weekday gig?

p.s. the RKO thread is almost up to 800 - wow - enormous interest in this.

Elder is on his way to Fox, to run their Talk Radio division.

Carbery wasn't axed, he quit.

I went back to the June post I did regerding Carberry leaving, and re read most of the replies.

The one that was spot on was "susan" with a whole 2 posts on this board who predicted that by the end of the summer there would be big changes at RKO. I would say that is going to happen or has happened with the departure of 2 high level managers

With the Celics arriving in he fall, and the loss of several key players at the talk station I can't imagine the Entercom folk are going to stay on the same course. Intentionally or not when there are wholesale chages in management the new ( or currently in place Julie Kahn) people involved are going to bring thier philosophy to the place.

From where I sit as a pure spectator, I think Rush is getting old. Maybe newer listeners are replacing people like me who have stopped tuning in but even I as a conservative thinks Rush has sold out.

Howie Carr... please I have started listening to Air America on the way home.
SSDD Same sh*t different day is the best way to describe his show. Is it any wonder ABC dumped him off thier network?
