And I said...

Market share in 2004....51.8
Market share in 2005....51.6

So all the rest of you managed to chew off .2 percent of the market,nice going.
Like I said,we sold 500 thousand dollars worth of 30's and 15's on all seven of our stations last week,including thousands of dollars of new business.
And you sold WHAT again?

If you were a million dollars off from last year,you'd be out of money.
For us,it's a bump in the road.
That's the major difference between us and you.

Being down over ONE MILLION DOLLARS and BRAGGING about it is why none of your management morons EVER get promoted within Clear Channel.If Clear Channel could find someone else to come here,you'd all be history.

Who said we haven't gained revenue share? Buckley and Galaxy have both gained real share increases this year.From your hide.
Here's the REALLY sad part.Go ask the old man in the corner office,Mr.Destiny, one question.
Ask him what the share was your outfit had 10 YEARS AGO.Back when it was mainly just WSYR and Y94.Before B was #1.Before Hot existed.Before Power 'redefined" how to sell urban radio.And before the Dog embarassed you.
When he tells you it was 55% and now with all these stations it's down to 51%,you'll understand why Syracuse takes the Clear Channel "little bus" to school.

Don't say you "sold" all that inventory on 7 stations... you sold that on maybe 3 and bonused the rest of your junk stations. With that many stations and opportunities to sell your numbers are embarassing, you should be doing soooo much more. Great job, go have a sanwisssssh REITH

500 Grand is 500 grand...you don't do that in a year..we did it in one week.
Pope,you took .2 in market share year to year,and you claim we're down over a million. So why didn;t you take 5 points in share instead of .2???????

The best part about selling against clear channel from what my reps tell me simply that its clear channel. You have such a tarnished name in the community that many businesses don't even want to do business with you. Sounds like you guys had one hell of a one day sale last week. So those $2 Dog spots must've went like hot cakes!!!! mmmmm snack of the day open faced turkey sandwisssssh

I want to work for CC so I can make a salary and spend all my money paying for gas as I try to make sales calls. You ruin your car, you pay for everything and you're not getting any richer.
