WHERE'S SCOTT ARTHUR?

Does anyone know where Scott Arthur lighted after the demise of KBME? And speaking of KBME, is Paul Berlin retired for good now?

Both nice guys.

I've heard Scott Arthur on KIKK 650 "Swingin' 650" filling in for Ronnie Renfro occasionally. I've had the opportunity to work with paul years ago while at KNUZ and he was on KQUE. It would be great to hear him on the radio again. I loved his style. He could come out of a recorded commercial, use the last few words and incorporate them into the intro of the next song. He paints a picture verbally. It's a lost art.

Scott now has a regular weekend shift on Swingin' 650...

His PR company has in the past had some interesting clients, including the late "Spanky" (Little Rascals) McFarland, and the late and soon-to-be-launched-into-the-final-frontier-for-the-last-time, James "Scotty" Doohan...

I could have sworn I heard Paul Berlin had a radio show on KSEV, if I'm not mistaken. Is that not happening anymore?! Forgive my ignorance, unless it's WOAI for Spurs games, I just don't listen to a lot of AM anymore (although I do want to check out Chuck's music show on 1070 ;) ).

Berlin did a show on KSEV several years ago but not anymore.

Scott Arthur was working as the PR guy for the Star of Hope mission in recent months. I interviewed him for a news story about the homeless and the cold weather back in January.

Berlin still voices a commercial on KSEV. I think it's Hub Buick...? I also think it was an account he served when he had the show.

I also worked with Paul and Scott at KQUE. Both were old-school pros and their style and skills are missed on Houston radio.
