Where's the magic? I tuned in once again this morning to MY 103.9 and of course from 7:00 - 7:05 there was nothing but dead air. Come on now, it's been how long and Rick and Bubba continue to have all of that dead air space? Surely a little MAGIC could fix that problem!!! How hard can it be to put ads that have been sold and guaranteed to run during the Rick & Bubba show in there instead of nothing??????!!!!??? This has been an on going problem and apparantly there is no MAGIC cure for it. At least TRP know how to fill in the breaks, you don't hear the dead air during JB&B. Come on Dan, wave the wand some more.
 
My guess is they did not get the memo about Rick and Bubba changing their clocks in an effort to become more "syndication friendly". Inexcusable by any stretch of the imagination, but they changed their clocks to go to a hard break at the top of the hour instead of :55, and it started Monday.
 
Makes sense but then again, those dead air breaks have plagued this station for quiet a while. It used to be every bottom of the hour there was 5 minutes of dead air every morning and I quit listening, just happened to tune in only to find the same old dead air. Maybe one day someone will get it right.

Rick & Bubba provide four or five minute breaks for local commercials. If the commercials aren't in the log, they don't play.
It's really is that simple. No one makes sure there are commercials = dead air
I do think Maestro(computer automation) allows for filler carts that will play in case there is nothing scheduled in the break, but it has to be configured to work.

let me tell you about a old, dryed up nasty, non selling sales women, named susan, she is govols and she got fired from magic ..because she sold nothing!!! the worst sales person in the biz, she gets fired...now shes mad and full of hate. so then comes the lies, and she feels better, go work for sears and shut up.
 
Too funny, the jokes' on you. I am not the nasty, old dried up sales woman named susan. I used her to keep the magic rolling here. I am still very alive in this building. I have talked to her and she knew nothing of what i had posted on her so she is innocent to all of this. She is not mad and obvious you didn't know her very well at all. I have known her for more than 10 years and she is not a bitter, mean person like you obviously are. Some people just get tough breaks, so be it. Spewing meaness is so unbecoming to you......and she is not one to work at Sears, I do believe that would be 2 other male co-workers of yours that do that on the side because they are terrified of having nothing to fall back on. Since we know you are not a female, stupidginny, get your facts straight! Such a shame that the magic makes one so mean and nasty...........such a shame.
