Where's the NEW FREE Channels they have to offer?

Melvin Karmazin promised the FCC 4 free channels on Sirius and 4 free channels on XM within 90 days of the merger - I don't hear anything yet, do you? Heard the date got pushed to June 29, 2009 - here we are a month after that, and still nothing after one whole year. I would have expected some Spanish music channels to replace those dumped during the merger last year! All we get is our 3rd price increase, which they also promised wouldn't happen.

Corporate fibbing--what a shock!

I think it was delayed because the FCC needed to determine how SiriusXM was to go about choosing minority groups to lease the channels.
Who cares anyway. We'll probably end up losing good channels to what will be wastes of air space that no one wants to listen to.
