WHFS music stream?

In the off-chance that anyone in here would know... but it seems like the WHFS2 stream has disappeared? Does anyone care? Or know more?

I care but I'm just a FREAK ;D. Last week HFS2's homepage disappeared and there was just a link to the music player. I also noticed HFS2 gone from Myspace and apparently Twitter. I posted a comment on DCLocalMusic forum and someone replied that HFS2 was being moved from the Baltimore market and to somewhere in DC. I listened to the HFS 'jukebox' until Wednesday when it began spewing out Urban hits then went silent later that day. Rumors are its being put on either 94.7 WTGB or 107.5 WJFK,neither of which I can pick up here :'(

I only found the stream last week, so I was kinda surprised when I tried to check it out Friday and saw it disappeared. I know about the rumors of another station picking up the HFS identity and calls, just surprised that they killed the stream beforehand -- I mean, wouldn't you want those listeners to stick around until you made the flip elsewhere?

Yes I agree with you. It doesn't make sense to leave listeners looking for other sources of music. But lets face it CBS hasn't made any good decisions where HFS is concerned since before January 12 '05. I'd be looking at the fact that 99.1 WLZL is ranking around the same as 99.1 WHFS was when it got flipped. Also there is the fact that THAT particular frequency and locations blankets TWO radio markets whereas WJFK or WTGB only reach the southern MD areas well. But noooo they'll drag the other low raters along with more dumb ideas, put HFS on a DC only signal as if Baltimore was at fault for thier stupidity and lack of insight and keep catering to a population that doesnt show up on the census.
