Which age group does Christmas Music target most?

I'm surprised Justin Bieber made a successful crossover to the Christmas format on AC for the holidays with his "Mistletoe" cover which kinda fit the Christmas format on AC although I don't really like it. :-\

I think a few good Christmas songs that me and others really enjoyed are Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Canon" and "Christmas Eve", Dan Fogelberg's "Same Old Lang Syne", Vanessa Williams' "Do You Hear What I Hear", Gloria Estefan's "Christmas Through Your Eyes", Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band's "The Little Drummer Boy", Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and a few other ones as well. :)
I'm not familiar with Vanessa Williams' "Do You Hear What I Hear" but I know I like the Perry Como and Bing Crosby versions. Harry Simeone Chorale for "Little Drummer Boy". The kids of "Christmas Canon" I like but the synthesized orchestra not so much. "Christmas Eve" is an abomination, plain and simple. Christmas music is supposed to provide comfort and create a peaceful atmosphere. That song is nothing short of war.

One good thing about these all-Christmas formats on AC: these people are finding out what people who have my musical taste know the rest of the year. This is good music!

Christmas music is for people of all ages and all musical tastes really. You can be 6 years old or 96 years old and find the variety of Christmas music appealing ... as long as it evokes memories and puts you in the holiday spirit.

I am over 60 and any station that flips to all Christmas comes off my pre-sets. I can't stand any of it
