Which game is NESN's Tom Caron watching?

I was watching Friday night's game with the Red Sox winning over the Twins. During the Post-Game show Tom Caron and Sam Horn were discussing the 9th inning and Curt Schilling closing it out. They kept saying Bret Boone struck out to end the game, but in reality it was Terry Tiffee. Boone struck for the second out,Tiffee lined out to Renteria to end the game. Which game were these guys watching? Caron didnt say it once he said it several times. Nobody in the booth caught it either to tell him in his IFB. I think that shows poor journalism. Any other thoughts?
