Which High-Def Syndicated Shows in Broadcasting in HD In Your Area?

Here in the Greenville, SC market. On Channel 4 (NBC), they broadcast Live with Kelly, The Doctors, The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Dr. Oz Show, Enertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, and Comedy.TV in HD. On Channel 7 (CBS), they broadcast Dr. Phil in HD, but not Access Hollywood in HD. On Channel 13 (ABC), they broadcast Anderson (I think), Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy! in HD. On Channel 21 (FOX), they broadcast Nate Berkus, Better, How I Met My Mother, 30 Rock, The Big Bang Theory, and Divorce Court in HD. On Channel 40 (MNT), they broadcast Tyler Perry's House of Payne or Meet the Browns in HD, Anderson in HD as well. And Channel 62 (The CW), they broadcast America's Court, We The People, The King of Queens reruns in HD. But not The Insider in HD.

Which stations in your market are broadcasting or not broadcasting HD syndicated shows?

For WGN-TV, the off-network syndicated sitcom, According to Jim is not in HD (for the episodes that were in HD). Since all the stations (except for WJYS, & low power stations: WOCK-CD, WDCI-LD, WWME-LD, WMEU-LD, WCHU-LD, & WESV-LD) have the main channel in HD, if the show is offered to them in HD, the syndicated shows are shown in HD on Chicago stations. I remember when Swift Justice was in Atlanta, & hosted by Nancy Grace, it was in HD, as it was filmed at Georgia Public Television's studios. When it moved to Los Angeles, it went SD.

I'm waiting for the HD episodes of South Park, Family Guy (gonna be a while, since it just went HD last season), & American Dad to be offered in syndication. WCIU has little HD programming now, but when they do have an HD program on, it's shown in HD, & they adjust the bandwidth on the other channels to keep it from looking like crap (sometimes, the subchannels suffer, due to 4 subchannels).

In the LA market we have quite the selection of HD 'reruns'

KTLA does 2.5 men as well as the new Futurama eps.

KTTV & KCOP (Fox owned) both do HD if the show was shot that way and both KCOP & KDOC run Seinfeld in HD. KDOC also runs 'Till Death in HD.

I'm still waiting for KTLA to get Friends in HD, but I'm sure when they do we'll get it in HD. ;)
