Which markets have Weekend 2 anchor newscast?

Which TV markets/stations have at least 2 weekend anchors doing the newscast? I know in Los Angeles, all of the major tv stations, KCBS-2/KCAL-9, KNBC-4, KTLA-5, KABC-7, and KTTV-11. Have at least 2 weekend anchors. Any others?

Boston's WCVB (ABC Channel 5) has two anchors on their Saturday And Sunday 6pm and 11pm shows. Their two main anchors work Sunday night through Thursday night and the "weekend" team works Friday and Saturday nights.

Boston's WFXT (Fox 25) also uses 2 anchors on their weekend nightly newscasts. I'm not completely sure about WBZ (CBS-Channel 4) or WHDH (NBC-Channel 7) because I don't watch them much.

In Portland OR, there used to 2 weekend anchors on all tv stations, but due to budget cuts and the downturn of 2008 recession, they cut back 2 anchors to 1 anchor, and 3 stations cut back their weekend evening newscast (KOIN, KGW, and KPTV) to 1/2 hour (KOIN, KGW) or no weekend evening newscast (KPTV).

WCAU use 2 anchors for the evening newscasts on Saturdays and Sundays, Chris Cato and Denise Nakano.

WCVB also has 2 anchors during the weekend morning newscasts. WBZ only uses one in the morning, and WHDH uses 2.

Minneapolis has 2 anchors on all 4 network newscasts (WCCO, KSTP, KARE, KMSP) at 5,6 and 10 (well 9:00 on Fox9 KMSP) on weekends
Sundays its 5:00 on KARE NBC and KMSP FOX while its at 5:30 on WCCO CBS and KSTP ABC

WMAQ-TV (NBC), WLS-TV (ABC), & WGN-TV (CW) only have 1 anchor for the weekend morning news, but almost always have 2 anchors on the late afternoon & the late night newscasts (which also includes WFLD (Fox) & WBBM-TV (CBS). I know with WLS-TV, if either Karen Jordan or Ravi Baichwal are off, they usually do the news with 1 anchor. Occasionally, WGN-TV does the same thing, if Jackie Bange, or Robert Jordan aren't available to do the weekend news for 1, or both days.

KTVU (Oakland-San Francisco) FOX, has 2 anchors for mornings and evening newscasts.
Mornings: Mike Mibach and Claudine Wong
Evenings: Ken Wayne and Heather Holmes

KNTV (San Jose- San Francisco) NBC, Terry McSweeny and Diane Dwyer. Evenings

In Denver, things are somewhat unique.....

While KCNC 4 (CBS), KUSA 9 (NBC) & KDVR 31 (FOX) all use 2 anchors regardless (Except maybe on major holidays), KMGH 7 (ABC) has only one anchor on Fridays & Saturdays regardless (Theresa Marchetta usually the one doing the honors & barring major breaking news when the station may likely either pair her with someone else or replace her with Mike Landess & Ann Trujillo) but on Sundays, they alternate even further between Mike & Ann each going solo AND the two of them together (This is FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK !!!)

On a similar note, how many other places do you this?

Cheers & 73 ;D

The stations in Chico/Redding, California (KHSL/KNVN and KRCR/KCVU) both have two-anchor weekend newscasts, and our market is about as bottom-of-the-barrel as you can get.

Cecille Juliette flies solo on the NBC/CBS Chico Action News NOW. The FOX/ABC combo does have a weekend duo.

Here in OKC, only KOCO and KOKH have a two-anchor format for their weekend newscasts.

KOCO had long employed just one anchor for the weekend evening newscasts, until about January, when they appointed Erielle Reshef and Morgan Chesky as Friday and Saturday evening anchors; Jessica Schambach was solo on the Sunday evening newscasts, but they put her Monday-Thursday co-anchor Paul Folger on Sundays as well around the same time that Reshef and Chesky joined the weekend shows. Dan Thomas and Katy Blakey anchor the weekend morning news, which also used to be one anchor until a couple of years ago.

KOKH has pretty much always had a dual-anchor format on weekends, since they expanded its 9 p.m. news to seven nights a week in 1998. Right now, Kisha Henry and Mark Taylor anchor that program (the only weekend newscast on that station, really, if you don't count their "Sports Sunday" show at 10 p.m.), but sometimes one of the two ends up subbing in on the morning or 9 p.m. news on weekdays (KOKH, much in a similar way as KOCO, does not keep personalities for very long).

WCCB Charlotte NC has their weeknight meteorologist work on Sunday night at 10 (there is no 6:00 newscast on any night). The weekend meterologist works Friday night and maybe Thursday night. I don't know which anchors work when because I only watch the weather.

WBZ usually has one news anchor on their weekend evening newscasts; WHDH generally uses two (including the 10 P.M. newscast they produce for sister station WLVI-56).

when they went to the CW, Reg Taylor works M-F and Jacinda Garabito does Saturday and Sunday.
