Which Pop Artists Are Good Live?

Okay, so wee all know Madonna can give quite a performance, and has a great voice both live in the studio. Most of us also know (or think) that Ashlee Simpson is not someone worthy of watching a live.

What are some of today's Pop artists who you think are worth seeing live on stage?

I can tell you that Coldplay are great. I've heard the Black Eyed Peas are fun. Who else?

Good, bad, any type of experience is welcomed.

I think it would be great to see ROBBIE WILLIAMS live. Dont ever want to see the P...CAT Dolls live,, I seen them sing and dance LIVE on TV, and they suck really bad, they dont harmonize, and their voices are Shakey and out of sink, kinda like they are straining in the BATHROOM. And as much as I like Kanye West, I heard him perform Gold Digger live, and his voice just isnt the same, but still I wouldnt turn down free tickets. I wouldnt mind seeing THE KILLERS, or THE RASMUS live, they both put on a good Rock Show.

Absolutely agree. 3DD live is one of the best shows I've seen.

Kelly Clarkson also does an extremely good live show.
______________

Yes! I'm dying to see the Killers in concert, should be a good time.
LOL@straining in the bathroom
Robbie Williams is indeed a great pereformer. I remember when he was a guest on the Tonight Show, and how well he performed his tune "Real Love"

Thanks for the response guys, much appreciated!
I'm not surprised to hear Kelly Clarkson performs well considering her start in the biz on American Idol.

Definitely agree with this one. Few artists can get a crowd going the way they can.

Also agreed. Saw them open up for Dave Matthews Band a couple months ago (was a marathon concert, nearly 6 hours). The crowd was definitely into it.

Maroon 5 doesn't sound good live, but they sound excellent in the studio.
______________

Wow, I couldn't agree more there. I saw them once and it was just AWFUL.

Somebody mentioned 3 Doors Down and Kelly Clarkson. I've seen both several times and they don't disappoint.
Swicthfoot was very good too.
Frankie J...not bad.

Everyone will probably make fun of me, but the Justin Timberlake/Christina tour that was around a couple of years ago was one of the best shows I've seen. Easily in my top 5. Oh, and a little band called the Black Eyed Peas opened for them both.

Yes, I was VERY surprised. Christina's voice is pretty impressive, and didn't disappoint live...

JT was off his freakin' rocker. I haven't seen someone work a crowd that well since the likes of Michael Jackson. Bold statement, I know, but he's really legit live.

Most impressive thing about that show? There are two things.

1) He opened, yes opened, with his huge hit at the time, "Rock Your Body". If you've seen enough concerts, you're aware that the status quo is to save the hit for the end of the show, or near it. The second he went from his dance thing into that, as his first song, I turned to the people I was with and stated, "OK...now THAT takes balls. You must think the rest of the show is pretty stellar to play your only sure thing at the very beginning."

2) Ole boy can beatbox. He spent twenty minutes suspended over the crowd, battling with his drummer and DJ on old school club tracks like "Planet Rock" and "It Takes Two". Veeeeeery cool.

Pop prince or not...this guy's a good musician, and knows how to rock a crowd. I'd see him again live in a second.

Bowling For Soup.

They sound great live, and put on a HELL of a show!
