Which Station Will Flip To Christmas First This Year In Columbus?

Wow, WSNY still hasn't gone all-Christmas! They're not even sprinkling in Christmas tunes, as far as I can tell. That's not a complaint, just surprising. Last year they flipped to all-Christmas Nov 18. I can't recall one of the local All-Christmas's ever going to a later start than the year before.

Maybe this Thursday?

Maybe people are getting tired of stations flipping to Christmas music just past Halloween. Wasn't WSNY complaining about how soon 93.3 flipped to Christmas last year? 93.3 Flip around November 2 last year and WNSY said on the air that people haven't had time to take down their Halloween
decorations yet but 93.3 had gone to all Christmas.

Maybe they'll be nice and let oldies 933 keep it to themselves but I doubt it. Mix 107.9 and Sunny 95 are offering seperate streams of holiday music online.

Is it cause they have electronic billboards all over the city that have a countdown clock stating exactly when they're gonna start playing Christmas music? :-*

The PD of Sunny 95 used to be PD of Cincinatti's Warm 98. So he probably decided to hold off till after Thanksgiving like he did there. Not only that but last years early change to holiday music didn't improve the ratings much in November. So they probably took listeners advice by not changing so early.
