Which Syndicated Morning Show Will B96 Start Piping In?

If they go syndicate, Big Boy's Neighborhood from Power 106 in LA.

My bets are they will stay local to compete with Drex/ Kiss FM.

Doesnt Emmis own that show?

Bubba The Love Sponge. Lock it in.

Doesnt Clear Channel own that show?

Isnt there a conflict of interest?

1. So??

2. So?? Premiere owns the show, and it competes AGAINST the company in some markets.

Just curious. Didnt know the whole "SCOPE" of things....Thank you for clearing it up.

In the Chicago Tribune, the station manager states that they are also looking at in-house options, Stylz and Roman in the mornings? Or maybe Julian?

Personally, I am sorry to see them go, they did age out of the demographic but they definitely had a non-generic, Chicago sound to their show.

You're both wrong. Cox Radio/Tampa is the flagship for the Bubba show. Ironically, next week, four more Bubba affiliates will be announced - three more in Florida, and a Cox station outside Florida.

As far as B96... Mancow? Nah...

Re: Which Syndicated Morning Show Will B96 Start Piping In? NONE

In today's economic times CBS will be afraid to pull a BIG trigger and they will hire and already have hired from within. LOCK that in. Its cheaper, contract will leave them with wiggle room if it does not work and these kids will be hungry enough to just take it because they think it might be their only chance. It won't work. Drex has been on fire for a while and they need a team that knows how to do radio in the morning. A vastly different animal and in Chicago you don't get many chances at a first impression. It is now a PPM world as well, that is no time for on the job training in market # 3. Nothing against these kids, I like them in afternoons but this is different.

I got a cool concept/idea:

Put Styles and Roman in the Morning

and Ryan Seacrest in the afternoon (2-5 or 6)??!?!
