WHICH TV NIGHT(S) ARE A WASTE ?

Yeah, quite interesting. Because now another network has proven just how little audience there is on Saturday nights when they can't even make money on AMW. Talk about validation. ;D

AMW doesn't have the syndication value like COPS has. They still air 20 year old COPS reruns

I hate to be a naysayer, but I don't see the broadcasters trying anything like repeating old comedy/variety shows on Saturday night. This is really what cable is around for- this type of narrowcasting.
PBS stations have done it. I've seen numerous "Red Skelton" episodes from before I was even born. Also Tennessee Ernie Ford's show which I never heard of, "Burns & Allen" and "Jack Benny". CBS showed four old "Jack Benny" shows years ago and they were hilarious.

10 years ago one of my PBS stations was even showing the movies AMC used to show.
