Which VCAs for a 8100A

Hi group !!

I have a 8100 unit with dead VCAs. Some of them are dead but I preffer replace all old VCAs with new. That's very hard to find lot of CA3280, so which modern VCA can do the trick ? I hope there's a solution ! If someone have enough VCA to sell for a complete 8100A without XT2, that should be better !

You might want to give Orban a call to see if they have gone to some sort of retrofit (assuming they even still support the 8100, service wise). I know on a recent job with a 6200 the chips for the monitor outputs is no longer available and they have a replacement workaround, albeit with somewhat less gain.
