Which was the best CHR station ATL ever had?

Thinking of stations at their best...let me throw out three for consideration:

Quixie
Z-93
Power 99

If someone wants to put forth an argument for WAKE or WPLO or WFOM or even Q100, please do.

I think that sums it up......94 Q was good as well...

WQXI-FM 94-Q was a favorite of mine back in its day. I often listened to Gary McKee in the morning (Remember Willis and the Birthday Monster?) as a kid. I have a pretty good aircheck of his last show.

95-5 the Beat from October 1999 to March 2001. It was the first true CHR Atlanta had in almost 7 years and everyone I remember was so excited to have a mainstream CHR on the air after so many years. It played hits that Star 94 had refused to play. I remember it also played all of the CHR hits that Star had not played in years past...KC and JoJo All My Life...NSync I Want you back...INOJ Time After Time...Mandy Moore Candy...Usher You Make Me Wanna...All Saints Never Ever...etc.

P-P-P-P-POWER 99! Followed by 95.5 da Beat, followed by Z-93. Wild 96.7 was a pretty decent station back in the early 2000s.

Q100 is the weakest "Top 40" station the ATL has ever seen.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the original Q100 at 100.5 when Susquehanna owned it and before Cumulus changed the music.

Roddy, I was thinking of Q100 back in the Susquehanna days. They were good back then and I loved listening to them. Since Cumulus has taken over Q100 if I try to listen to them I can't keep it on the station for more than 5 or 10 minutes max and end up going to the internet to listen to one of CC's KISS CHR's.

When it comes to the BEST CHR Atlanta ever had, I'd have to vote for Power 99 as the best followed by Z-93 and Quixie third.
