WHIL-FM reception

Has anyone had reception or interference problems while receiving programming from WHIL-FM with the radio antenna in the regular position? A few days ago I noticed more static coming from my radio while it was set for 91.3 (WHIL-FM) with the antenna in the regular position (similar to a clock hand pointing at 12). Today I finally decided to move the antenna from the normal position to a position similar to a clock hand pointing at 10.

Tropo's been screwing with reception of all the Baldwin county stations in Pensacola and Mobile for the past couple of weeks. One drive I made down I-10 (8-9 days ago) was so bad I had to listen to AM radio.
