While I was listening to HD radio in my car this morning...

Two things stood out.

1. KOKE-FM was on 107.1 HD 4 stream
2. Comedy 102.7 was no longer on KGSR's HD 3 stream

I was going to post, does anyone know how many IF any Austin stations are on full HD power yet?

Update, Comedy is back on HD-3. How is Emmis connected with KOKE? I'm glad they are on HD-4 I can actually pick them up now.

It's probably just a contract deal where Emmis leases its HD4 to KOKE-FM.

Does KOKE own 98.5/99.3 outright, or are they LMA'd?
Are those both Regular FM's or repeaters?

My understanding was that KOKE-FM was to be an outright sale, but it doesn't appear to have happened yet according to the FCC website. Due to translator and signal contour overlap rules, 99.3 and 98.5 cannot be co-owned unless 98.5 were to relay another station. That, by the way, might be part of why KOKE-FM is on 107.1-HD4. Making 98.5 a relay of KLZT-HD4 would allow the proposed KOKE-FM owners to own it and relay KOKE-FM programming via 107.1-HD4.

99.3 is a class A FM station operating at 6,000 watts of power with an antenna height of 328 feet above average terrain. 98.5 is a translator.
