What is going on there? They are already looking for new morning show again.

Not that columbus radio is all that important considering people are dying right now from hurricane katrina...but, they must still be searching for someone who'll actually do the job they said they would do.

So then how are you finding time to browse and post on a message board? Shouldnt you be at the local Red Cross office volunteering your services? I love the self-righteous.<P ID="signature">______________

Find it to be amazing that the guy they had doing mornings seemed to be everywhere and well liked in the community. In fact had seen in the newspaper a least once on a station event. Seemed to be getting in touch with the community and doing a good job.

Wow! He was "seen in the newspaper ONCE on a station event." He was there how long? A few years? Unless you actually work with a person then you don't know what goes on beyond the surface. There are alot of radio people that are out in the community, loved by listeners, etc. but are a real cancer in the workplace. When the daily misery outweighs the show they do, then sometimes they need to go. I've seen it a hundred times, and everyone goes "Why did you get rid of that person? They were a good dj!! You guys fire all the good people" Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah. You know why? Because they were a PAIN IN THE ASS to everyone BUT the listener.

Voicetrack...you assume I work at the station. Not everyone on this board does or is an on-air person. Get a clue. The Buff one has spoken.

>Buff you say apparently he was a cancer in the workplace. Obviously you would have to be there to know that or have very good inside info. He was there at least a couple of years and really I have not seen those stations out that much. Apparently you must have some personal insight into this.
