Hey WBZ, you may want to ditch the prerecorded newscasts that don't include any news about the biggest hard news story in these parts in a long while.

Are any TV stations breaking in? I'd doubt it, but figured it was worth asking.

I noticed that, too, but it's no biggie since LeVeille's devoting his show to it, and he dragged Dan Rea back to the studio.

Agreed, LeVeille and Rea did a very good job last night, but the old newscast just made everyone look stupid.
 
I turned on NECN after I heard the news on BZ Radio. I don't listen to LeVeille anymore as I much prefer Batchelor and Red Eye Eye Radio but for some reason and I don't know why I turned on BZ at midnight while on the way home and heard Steve announce the news. I tuned on NECE (New England's 24 Hour News Channel) when I got home. They were running prerecorded news as well until they had Matt Noyes the Weather guy break in and read some AP wire stories.

What would have BZ sounded like if they had their pre-recorded news along with the show from St Louis on?
 
Their "breaking news" music jolted me a bit. I tend to think nuke disaster or assassination.

Organized Crime trivia question: what former 'BZ newsman was shot to death in a mafia hangout?
