Came accross this online, "MMTC BROADCASTING LLC is selling Silent WHJA-A/LAUREL, MS to DONALD H. PUGH, JR for $5,000. The station was one of the AMs donated to the MINORITY MEDIA TELECOMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL."
That station has been off the air for years, I always thought the license had been deleted. Does the tower or any of the equipment still exist? After being off this long I figured it would have been hauled away by now.
The tower is still there according to Google Street View. I think that photo is less than two years old. The building and land around the tower don't look to be in great shape in this Bing Bird's Eye View, though.
