Why is CC running the station half-assed? If they've decided against the old local/liberal/people with no radio experience format to go with Savage, et al, why not go the whole way? Why not add their own Glenn Beck? Apparently they had to pick up Doyle to steal Savage from 'PRO. She may be on WADK, but Ingraham would be better than Jimbo at night... didn't he jump the shark some time again? Heck, they're CC, they could steal Hannity if they wanted seeing how late he's on over at 630... and why not get Coast to Coast while you're at it?
 
KJCB, My goodness I think WHJJ has made some great strides forward!I believe Helen Glover will beat David Barber in the ratings race.I believe Savage is a great pick for HJJ.Have heard HJJ can't get Hannity from PRO, GOOD, who would want him anyway?Don't you think WHJJ is much better??My best to you.Chatty
 
I don't like Hannity and I didn't like Bill O'Reilly either. Dave Barber I can do without and Dan Yorke is a Drama Queen. Rush Limbaugh is to pompus for my blood and I don't even know what the station does during Morning Drive these days. WPRO has just been going down the tubes since last Fall. I anticipate HJJ taking over the lead within the next couple of years.
 
WHJJ isn't taking over anything with Imus in the AM and Arlene Violet in the afternoon drive time slot. By the way have you noticed how Arlene is mimicking Yorke these days?So lame it's funny.She's trying to make news ala Yorke with her inside scoops from her dopey brother Bud.She can't even get the governor's office on the phone to respond to her.Yorke gets the governor in person to respond to him.Have you noticed how she talks to her producer on air more and more like Yorke does with Matty Allen?I guess imitation is the highest form of flattery and Yorke should be flattered.WHJJ would give WPRO a run for it's money if DePetro came back in Arlene's spot but they're not moving to the head of the line with the old and tired Arlene Violet schtick as their station anchor.
 
I agree! Imus was old 10 years ago and Arlene is terrible! I guess I'm just hoping that by adding Savage HJJ is headed in a better direction. Let's look at the facts. There is no way Imus will even last that much longer. He looks like the walking dead as it is. Arlene doesn't look that much better. Those two both have age going against them and HJJ will have to replace them soon anyway. I would love to see HJJ get Depetro back and steal Matt Allen away from WPRO.
 
Hi everyone! Well Arlene is under a 3 year contract, 150,000 a year. Her show is kind of zany, almost like Alex Jones. Whjj has made some huge moves forward. I think Arlene is problem for Hjj. MRS. Haynes at Pro was also pushing for Arlene. It may have just been a rost. I think the sadest thing is, niether Jim Crowin nor Barbra Haynes have in any way helped their stations. It's really Bill George and Paul Giammarco . Too bad their not in charge.My best to you,Chatty
 
The Governor is probably not returning phone calls to ARlene, as she blew the whistle on the Fire Marshall he appointed. He lacks qualifications, also, was in charge of the fire station, a few years back that had the hookers.

The new fire inspector? It's such a "big" story nobody cares. It's a non-issue.
He's probably tired of getting his balls busted as Arlene gives the massive corruption involved with the casino a free pass since she's sympathetic with the Indians.
Arlene is quite the hypocrite and it's one of the reasons I spend little time listening to her.
Her show goes on only if Dan Yorke is talking on a topic I don't care to listen to.
Arlene is all about good governemnt unless it's an issue she wants badly like the casino then she'll put the blinders on to all kinds of government shananagans and corruption.
Arlene's problem is she's scurrying around trying to out-Dan Yorke at his own investigative game and she's coming across as completely lame.
Arlene needs to retire since most of her audience already is.

That would be considered full service radio (music and news/talk)... forget about it tho. 99 percent of stations aren't even half-service anymore.. LOL
