WHK Rebrands Itself

The station is now known as "1420 The Answer" patterned after other stations owned by Salem. The talk line-up remains the same.

Also, Jim McIntyre, formerly of WDOK, is now the traffic and news anchor at WHK along with traffic duties at WFHM 95.5 The Fish. He's also going to appear on "Kelly and Company" on 1420 at 11pm on weeknights.
 
This answer will take some getting used to. It impressed me as sounding kind of forced today, but then again I was so comfortable with the previous long-term branding that maybe any major change would sound curious to me.
 
I just saw a billboard for 1420 The Answer the other day near the Holiday Inn by the RTA rapid station alongside I-71 before the Cleveland airport. Salem is now pushing the station more often.
