WHLI Translator Up and Running

Seems 104.7 is a very chaotic signal near JFK airport with WTC and LI battling it out, very short spaced and very frustrating, especially for the daily commute. If the LI station moved maybe a few miles east it could go non directional (or just a bit reduced to the NW) and maybe a bit greater height would put a decent signal from maybe Valley Stream out to Islip... but Hempstead is closer to NYC and signal strength there would be better near the current transmitter vs the Plainview/Bethpage area.

Honestly, this translators best bet is to move to 99.1. The best of the worst in this signal situation. It would at least cover the southern shore of Nassau/Suffolk without interfering with Star and PLR. 104.7 is a terrible frequency because even a situation with tropo, WELJ would blanket much of the coverage.
