WHLI Translator

Its been a while since the FCC allowed AM stations in the area to have new FM Translators. Anyone know what happened to the new translator for WHLI 1100 for 104.7 FM in Hempstead ?

A check of the FCC database indicates that the application for an WHLI translator has not been approved yet.
WGBB 1240 AM has had their translator application approved, but apparently has not built it yet. WNYM 970 AM in Bergen County NJ is in the same situation.
Another suburban station waiting for approval of a translator application is WVOX 1460 AM, in New Rochelle NY.
Does anyone know of other AM stations in the area that have applied for FM translators?

WGBB's translator has been on the air for months . But as the old saying goes if a tree falls in the woods does anybody hear it???

Question would the signal for WVOX on 98.3 of the translator reach Queens even though 98.3 WKJY is heard now is most of Queens ? I'm wondering if it would be possible with my roof antenna if i pointed the antenna north once its been approved.
